Laser engraving FAQ

Permanent detail, explained simply.

What can you laser engrave?

Projects may include compatible tumblers, coasters, wood pieces, signs, keepsakes, gifts and other materials that respond well to laser marking or engraving.

Is laser engraving permanent?

Laser engraving alters or marks the surface rather than applying a decal, so the result is generally durable and permanent on an appropriate material.

Can you engrave logos, names and handwriting?

Often, yes. Logos, names, dates, monograms and other artwork can usually be adapted when the source file is clear enough and the material allows the needed detail.

When is UV printing a better choice?

If you want full color, gradients or photographic-style artwork on a compatible hard surface, UV printing may be a better fit than engraving.
